There are moments in fashion where clarity defines everything. Where design is not driven by noise, but by intention. Reduced to what truly matters. The PUMA x Jil Sander K-Street exists within that space. It is a product shaped by discipline, by restraint and by a quiet confidence that does not need to announce itself.

Rooted in the late 90s archive and reinterpreted through the lens of modern minimalism, the collaboration reflects a dialogue between sport and purity. It carries the technical DNA of performance footwear, yet is distilled to its essential form: reduced, precise and intentional. This is not a sneaker that asks for validation. It assumes it.
To translate this attitude into an editorial context, we inserted the K-Street into a landscape that mirrors its philosophy: the dunes of Sylt. Defined by openness and a certain stillness, the setting offered exactly what the product stands for. The Matte Bronze and Canvas tones of the shoes find a natural counterpart in the shifting sands, the dry grasses, and the muted color palette in the nature of the island. It is this interplay between material, color and environment that creates a sense of effortless alignment.

Captured by Leipzig-based creative director and photographer Jupp Simon, the series places the shoe within a natural setting that enhances its understated presence. The soft tones of sand and sky echo the palette of the product, while the rawness of the environment contrasts its refined construction. Together, they create a visual tension that feels both grounded and elevated.
Berlin-based creative @nellynelsson brings the narrative to life with a sense of ease that feels entirely unforced. Known for her strong focus on fashion and a highly engaged, loyal community, she moves naturally within this setting not as a subject but as part of the composition. The result is imagery that feels less staged and more observed.

To mark the launch, we transformed our entire space into a dedicated environment for the collaboration. From a fully wrapped storefront to curated installations including a visual cage concept referencing the original 1998 model. A dinner-table setup that recontextualized the product in an unexpected, almost ceremonial way. Every element was designed to support a singular narrative.

Over the course of the activation, we welcomed a highly engaged and creatively driven community into the store. Individuals who not only connected with the product but genuinely understood the concept behind it. The atmosphere was defined by curiosity, appreciation and a shared sense of excitement around the collaboration. The feedback was consistently positive, reflecting a strong emotional connection to both the product and the experience as a whole.
By that being said, we had to embrace this activation by placing a selection of the iconic Thonet chairs, designed in collaboration with Jil Sander herself. Defined by their refined craftsmanship, timeless aesthetic and subtle uniqueness these pieces added an additional layer of depth to the installation and contributed significantly to the overall atmosphere of the space quietly elevating the experience without ever overpowering it.

It is also worth noting that the distribution of the PUMA x Jil Sander K-Street was intentionally limited with less than a handful of retailers in Germany given access. Within this context, the project takes on additional relevance not as a broad release but as a considered placement.
A limited selection of sizes remains available and can be purchased via our online store as well as in our Flagship Store, Neue Mitte 06, Sylt.
