At the intersection of tradition and experimentation, Clarks Originals unveils the WallabeeBT in collaboration with POST ARCHIVE FACTION — a thoughtful reinterpretation of the iconic silhouette, featuring tonal suede, refined stitching, and a Vibram sole that transforms the classic design for today’s wearer.

There are few shoes as quietly radical as the Clarks Wallabee. Born in 1967, the moccasin-inspired silhouette became a global archetype: part British subculture, part Jamaican uniform, part streetwear heritage. This season, the Wallabee enters a new chapter. Clarks Originals joins forces with South Korean design collective POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) to release the WallabeeBT PAF — a three-part collection that reimagines the classic through PAF’s experimental, almost architectural lens.

For their collaboration with Clarks, PAF approached the Wallabee not as a fashion item but as a framework: Visible stitching traces the outline of the shoe, creating a sense of tension and precision. The signature crepe sole gives way to a Vibram platform, pushing the silhouette closer to utilitarian terrain. The proportions shift just enough to feel contemporary, but never forced. It’s a design that speaks the same language as the original — only now, it whispers in a different dialect.

The collection arrives in three colorways — black, grey, and sand — each chosen to emphasize texture over tone. Suede remains central, grounding the design in tactility and warmth. The palette feels almost geological: soft, layered, and raw. In PAF’s universe, color is never decorative. It’s structural.
RELEASE of the Clarks Originals x PAF (POST ARCHIVE FACTION) WallabeeBT is Friday, October 17, 00:00 CET
