The WG 24 is an iconic Bauhaus table lamp, originally designed in the 1920s<\/strong> and still produced today by Tecnolumen in faithful accordance with the original design<\/strong>. The lamp is defined by its clear, functional form language: a cylindrical glass shade paired with a minimal metal wall mount. True to Bauhaus principles, the design follows function and avoids decorative elements.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is manufactured using high-quality materials and traditional craftsmanship<\/strong>. Each lamp is individually numbered<\/strong> and bears the TECNOLUMEN trademark, ensuring authenticity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This table lamp, designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld<\/strong> in 1924, is often named the Bauhaus lamp. Wagenfeld was 24 years old, when he was admitted as a journeyman to the Bauhaus workshop in Weimar. Here he designed the first model of this lamp as his solution to an assignment given to him by L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Moholy-Nagy. As Wagenfeld said years later, the Bauhaus designs were intended to be industrial products, and indeed looked like them. In fact they were hand-crafted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wilhelm Wagenfeld (1900 – 1985) was a German industrial designer whose works are still admired today for their timeless aesthetics and functional clarity.
